Why Denver-metro homeowners trust AquaShield

4.7 stars from 20 Google reviews

Google review by Zakiya Bass: my mom kept telling me to look into water softeners after she got one put in her place in Loveland. finally did it and yeah she was right. the difference in how the shower feels is noticeable, my skin doesn't feel tight after i rinse off, and the drinking water from the RO tap is clean. AquaShield was easy to deal with and the price was reasonable. should've listened to her sooner

Google review by Naylla Rizkya Hasna: the scale buildup on our showerhead was so bad we'd basically replaced it twice in 3 years. after getting AquaShield's softener put in a couple months ago it's just not happening anymore. that alone is worth it. also the drinking water from the RO tap is something we actually drink instead of defaulting to bottled water now

Google review by Sardis Ika: My husband and I went back and forth on this for probably a year. Cost, whether it was actually necessary, which system, which company. Finally decided to just do it and went with AquaShield based on what we'd read. The consultation confirmed we made the right call. No hard sell, just clear information. Got the full package and have zero regrets three months in.

How it works

From a few quick questions to cleaner water, in 3 steps

About your water and your home. It takes under a minute and tells us what to test first. Then pick a time that suits you.

  2. 2

Your water is tested at your sink

About 30 minutes. You watch the results come up on your own tap water and get plain answers about what they mean for your home.

  3. 3

    A written recommendation, your call

If a system makes sense for your home, you get the recommendation in writing before we leave. It is yours to keep, and whether you go ahead is up to you.

FAQ

Common questions

Is the in-home water test really free?

Yes. The test is free and there is no obligation to buy anything after it. We test your water at your kitchen sink, show you the results and answer your questions. If you want a system, we walk you through your options. If you do not, the visit ends there.

What does a system include?

The whole package: a dual-tank whole-home system, one tank for softening and one for carbon filtration, plus an under-sink reverse osmosis drinking water system, installed by licensed, local plumbers. Everything is spelled out in writing before install day, and nothing changes between the test and the install.

Do you offer financing?

Yes. Financing through Affirm: $0 down, up to 36 months interest-free (0% APR), with approved credit. We walk you through it during your free consultation.

My city already softens the water. Do I still need a test?

It is still worth 30 minutes. Some districts soften centrally, Commerce City among them, and the water still arrives at around 7 grains per gallon, which most hardness scales put at the hard end of moderately hard. The test gives you your own number at your own tap, so you decide with a real figure instead of a district average.

What areas do you serve?

The Denver metro east of I-25: Commerce City, Thornton, Brighton, Aurora, Centennial, Parker and the neighborhoods in between. Not sure if that covers you? Enter your ZIP above and we will confirm before the visit.

Who comes to my house?

A member of the AquaShield Home Systems team, often Mitchel Quintana, the owner. Whoever comes runs the test at your sink, walks you through the results and puts any recommendation in writing before leaving.

Will I be pressured to buy?

No. You are never obligated to buy, and nothing is sprung on you. Whatever we recommend is put in writing, it is yours to keep, and whether you go ahead, and when, is your call. Say no and we will thank you for your time.

I have well water. Does this apply to me?

Book the test anyway. Our standard package is built for city water, and well water sometimes needs different equipment. The test is how we find out what yours needs before anyone recommends anything.

Are you licensed?

Yes. AquaShield Home Systems is licensed (Lic. #7410101) and a registered Colorado company, and every system is installed by master plumbers.
